1. Provider and scope
RenderPatch is provided by NEOLAB, a French SASU registered with the Créteil Trade and Companies Register under number 980 228 993, with a registered office at 21 rue Anatole France, 94270 Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France.
By creating an account, ordering a subscription or using the desktop application, you agree to these terms. If you act for a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Mandatory consumer rights applicable to you are not limited by these terms.
2. The RenderPatch service
RenderPatch is a desktop tool designed to replace or insert selected video and/or audio segments in compatible media while preserving unaffected material and relevant metadata where technically possible.
Results depend on codecs, containers, source consistency, operating systems and third-party media tools. You are responsible for keeping a backup of the original master and reviewing every output before delivery or broadcast. RenderPatch does not replace professional quality control.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate account and billing information.
- Keep credentials and authorized devices under your control.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or licensing abuse.
- Do not share an account in a way that exceeds the machine allowance of the purchased plan.
We may temporarily protect or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents or material breach of these terms.
4. Plans, prices and renewal
Current plans, machine allowances, billing periods and prices are presented before checkout. Prices are stated in euros and exclude VAT. Stripe calculates and adds applicable VAT or other tax during checkout based on your billing details and tax status. The total amount charged is shown before purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to the chosen payment method. Failed or reversed payments may suspend license access after any paid period or legally required grace period.
Price changes apply no earlier than the next renewal after reasonable notice. You may reject a future price by canceling before that renewal.
5. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
You can cancel from the RenderPatch billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewal and access normally continues until the end of the current paid period. Deleting an account is separate from cancellation and does not create a refund by itself.
If you purchase as a consumer, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable distance-selling law. Rules can differ when digital performance begins at your express request. Contact contact@renderpatch.io as soon as possible so the request can be reviewed under the rights that apply to your purchase.
Outside mandatory rights, refunds are not automatic for a partially used billing period. We may nevertheless issue a refund when required by law or appropriate after a documented billing or technical issue.
6. Software license
During an active subscription, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use RenderPatch on the number of activated machines included in your plan for your own professional or personal media work.
You must not:
- resell, sublicense or rent access to the application;
- bypass account, payment, activation or machine-limit controls;
- reverse engineer or modify the application except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use RenderPatch to infringe third-party rights or break the law.
7. Availability and updates
We may release fixes, compatibility updates and changes to the web or desktop services. Internet access is required for account, billing, download and license checks. Planned or emergency maintenance may temporarily interrupt those functions.
Supported operating systems and formats may change as platform and media dependencies evolve. We will not intentionally remove a core paid capability during a current billing period without a legitimate security, legal or technical reason.
8. Responsibility
Each party remains responsible for the direct loss it causes under applicable law. To the extent the law permits, RenderPatch is not responsible for indirect business loss, missed delivery caused by an unverified output, loss of an unbacked-up master, or failures of a third-party platform outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach, unlawful use, fraud or a serious security threat, normally after notice and an opportunity to remedy when appropriate. Provisions concerning payment, intellectual property, responsibility and disputes survive where relevant.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by French law. Courts are determined by mandatory procedural and consumer rules; for disputes exclusively between professionals, the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Créteil have jurisdiction where such a clause is legally effective.
Before starting formal proceedings, contact contact@renderpatch.io so we can try to resolve the issue. We may update these terms for future use or renewals; material changes will be communicated when required.
